Middle East hotels report poor May Performance

Turnover = vanity, profit = sanity.....the hotels in the Middle East have seen this coming for a while, if not experiencing it already, but what are they doing to ride the storm? The lack of focus on cost of goods combined with quality and consistency of food and how its served are now all starting to have an impact. The food supply chain remains light years behind, it doesn't need to be, but the hotel procurement teams are still resisting consolidation as it creates transparency...it's 2017, the UAE in particular leads the way in so many ways across the world, but this inherent issue remains!http://www.hotelnewsme.com/news/middle-east-hotels-report-poor-performance-may-2017/?lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Ad_flagship3_detail_base%3B8cb8L7nBQ%2FSRjic0IUE1qw%3D%3D
